Erada: Girls school to be built in Chamkani
The first girls school in [the south-eastern] Khost Province’s district of Chamkani is being built. The school is planned for 600 girl students and 250 woman teachers. The project’s costs of $75,000 have been provided by the [International Rescue Committee] IRC.
The head of the Department of Education in Khost said the Department intended to build more schools for girls in other parts of the province. At present, Khost has only one girls’ school.
