It is Persian Gulf, Mr. President! BY admin In one of his recent remarks on March 27, 2009, President Obama called the Persian Gulf “the Gulf”. If we don’t take action now, this will create an ominous precedent leading every U.S. official to deliberately distort this time-honored name and the name Persian Gulf will be erased from the international maps for ever.
We have prepared a petition asking him to call it the right way, the Persian Gulf.
