Looking for social cultural anthropologists who have worked in Iran or among Iranians

I am working on an article about the history of social cultural anthropology in Iran. If you have worked in Iran, may I please ask you to fill out the following short form? If you know of others who have worked in Iran, however briefly at whatever point in their career, could you please forward this little form to them? I hope that I can give credit to anyone who has worked in Iran.

1. Your name(s)

2. the years and periods during which you conducted anthropological research in Iran or among Iranians.

2. Bibliographical information about your Ph.D. thesis--or MA thesis if that is your highest degree in social cultural anthropology of Iran or Iranians.

3. Could you please send me by email your resume, including forthcoming publications, based on social cultural anthropological research about Iran or Iranians?

4. Can you please give me the names and email addresses if you have them of others who have worked in Iran or among Iranians?

If you would be interested, please ask me to email what I have so far gathered of names of anthropologists and works of anthropologists who have worked in Iran or among Iranians.

Thanks you very much,
Mary Elaine Hegland

Moments in LIFE

Moments in Life

There are moments in life when you miss someone
so much that you just want to pick them from
your dreams and hug them for real!

When the door of happiness closes, another opens;
but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one, which has been opened for us.
