Since her nomination in 2004 by Kofi Annan as the Director of the Communications for the United Nations in Western Europe; Afsaneh Bassir-Pour has put the “Millennium Development Goals” at the front of her agenda. She has been participating in events ranging from Davos to the Road to Copenhagen. Her strong personality and genuine concern are aimed at changing the world for better. With a focus on civil society she empowers, informs and engages.
